The purpose of this page is to provide you with information about my practice and reassurance about our referral system. I have worked with many MD’s in the course of my career (reference available upon request) and understand the uncertainty when referring to new providers.

When referring a patient to Jesse Phelps, L.Ac. you can expect,

A thorough exam, including vital signs and necessary orthopedic testing

A written follow up detailing report of findings and recommended treatment plan

Suggestions on adjunctive therapies that would benefit your patient (stretching/strengthening, biofeedback, heat or cryotherapy)

Timely follow up reports on improvement and changes

A sincere commitment to providing the highest quality of care possible

A return of your patient to your office

Reasons to refer to Jesse Phelps, L.Ac.,

A request from your patient

Your patient has received multiple therapies and is still experiencing pain or other symptoms

Your patient would like to minimize the side effects from medication or chemotherapy

To reduce the likelihood of surgical intervention and/or speed up post surgery healing time

Your patient would like to prevent future occurrences of disease and take preventive measures
